Is it true the English men prefer the company of other men compared to women?
I have been reading tons of articles on the differences between European and American men for my gender and cultural studies class when I found countless articles about the English men and their "overwhelming fear of women". I listed a few articles below for reference but I am very interested to know your respectful opinions or experience on the matter. Do these articles raise valid points? Or are they merely generalizations? What are the differences between English men and American men in dating?
If you could please state your age, sex and country so I can included my findings it would be greatly appreciated.

SEX SEX SEX!! picture these scenerios.. how would you feel or react towards your partner?
okay so your in the "mood", you roll over to your partner in an attempt to frisk them and they say "BABE.. watch my hair..."
your sitting next to your partner watching TV and again your in the mood, you go to touch them and the say "BABE.. your hands are cold..."
you come home and your partner just woke up and you go for a kiss and they step back and say "BABE my breath..."
would you take the above actions as a form of indirect rejection? would you still feel the same if you had to explain yourself to your partner.. for example.. "sorry, i was just trying to..." would you feel cautious when approaching your partner because of this? how would you explain to your partner that it affects you without them feeling your giving excuses as to why you are not intimate enough or initiating sex?

"We had been together for ten years and I thought he was quite sensitive and caring, but he stunned me by becoming totally repelled by my body once I told him," says the 41-year-old from Bedfordshire. "It was as if he thought he'd catch something if he came near me. He couldn't understand why I was so upset at either the illness or at his behaviour. He cooled so much towards me that our relationship became silent and lonely. Six months after I first found the lump he ran back into the arms of an ex-girlfriend and I have barely seen him since. He broke my heart." Abandonment would have been difficult at any time, Forrester says, but in her time of greatest need it dealt the harshest of blows. Yet was her husband's behaviour as uncommon as might be supposed? According to the Office for National Statistics, there were 144220 divorces in the UK in 2006-07 (the latest figures available) and, of those, about 18 per cent (25959) were due to "family ...

Tenofovir gel provides high level of protection against HIV in rectal tissue
( Microbicide Trials Network ) A gel developed to protect against HIV during vaginal sex produced a strong antiviral effect when used in the rectum, according to an early-phase study. The results, based on rectal tissue biopsies sampled from HIV-negative men and women who used the product daily for one week, provide the first-ever evidence that tenofovir gel could help reduce the risk of HIV ...
Researchers have found that romance begins to fall flat after 36-months into a relationship, where couples begin to take each other for granted, argue ever more and lose their sexual appetite. The oft-quoted âseven-year itchâ has become a âthree-year glitchâ because of the pressures of modern life, Reuters is reporting. Couples admitted that they enjoy a third as much sex than newer couples and ...

I was fourteen and had my first serious boyfriend. I "thought" I loved him. Before him i had friends and went to their houses and such, but never really hung out with many guys. So i went over his house and my mom said she might call over there and set down some "rules" with his parents. I promised her i'd behave and that i know right from wrong. She said ok she wouldn't call and give me a chance. (i never did anything wrong before this time) So i get to the boys house, and it turns out she called his father! She told him not to let us up in his room alone and to keep an eye on us the whole time. This made me so embarrassed and mad at my mother for lying to me and not trusting me, so we had sex that day at his house. I blame it on my mom since then.
Is this wrong or do you agree?
thanks so much! Katrina
